  2. One of the least exotic of nature’s creatures, I find the seagull endlessly fascinating… ruthless individuals – will step on their children to get at a morsel of food… yet somehow, also elegant. Are these two involved in a mating ritual I wonder?

    • Actually I think it’s a parent – children pair. The young one hoped to get some food, without any success, though. They were deemed old enough to look for their own food…
