Last couple of weeks I visited again Scotland’s highlands and islands, this time a bit further north. Amazing landscapes, incredible beaches, dramatic weather, quite a few people I am grateful for their hospitality and kind help, this is the summary of  a wonderful holiday. I can only hope that the photos I managed to take will make justice to these dream places. I do love Scotland! The stones in the picture above were placed here almost 5000 years ago. An impressive site, I have to say.

  1. Love the Highlands! It’s one of the most beautiful places on earth I’ve seen. Gratified by the sense of being Scottish!

  2. Beautiful and … Beautiful 🙂
    I love the alignment stones.

  3. I am half Scottish, but have lived far away for most of my life – these images tingle something in my bones..a magical place! 🙂

  4. Magical, indeed! Thanks, Cath!
